Laziness is not just not doing nothing.
Laziness is often perceived as not doing anything at all, but in reality, it's not doing the things that we don't like or find challenging.
Successful people can push through the discomfort and do what needs to be done, even if they don't enjoy it. They are disciplined and can systematically tackle tasks, even if they are not exciting. On the other hand, lazy people may seem busy, but they are often busy doing the wrong things or procrastinating.
Impact in Paris
Paris is widely known as the city of love, but it also needs the love of Jesus. Recently, I had an incredible opportunity to join the Wandsworth Church team in Paris to witness for Jesus on the streets. It was an experience filled with inspiration and hope.
Say no!
Often, we struggle to say "no" because we're accustomed to pleasing everyone around us. We may overestimate our availability and ability, leading us to take on more than we can handle. However, learning to say "no" to the right things at the right time can be one of the most powerful and positive decisions we make.
remedy for anxiety
The Bible offers a powerful remedy for anxiety in Philippians 4:6-7. God tells us not to be anxious about anything, but to bring our requests to Him in prayer with thanksgiving. The peace of God, which transcends understanding, will then guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. It's natural to face situations that feel overwhelming, but God wants us to turn to Him in prayer and trust in His strength and wisdom. By doing so, we can experience His peace and witness to others about His grace and love. The peace of God not only comforts us in difficult times, but also protects us from anxiety and negative emotions. Let us turn to God in prayer and find peace in His presence, knowing that He is always with us.

are you Self-centered?
Self-centered people can be oversensitive and self-absorbed, making it difficult for them to connect with others and feel empathy. They may struggle in a church setting where there is a focus on serving others and growing as a community. The Bible encourages self-centered individuals to turn to Jesus and become more focused on him, as this can help them overcome their tendency to be self-absorbed and improve their relationships with others.
WHY CHURCH? by Pastor Jay Nembhard
In 2014, when we were in Jamaica, after a heated discussion with my wife and eldest son, I realised something about me that I hadn’t seen in the longest while – my judgment was off. I have been wrong so many times, but this one was different. After much self-reflection, I realised that something was changing in me. It was like driving a car that was pulling to one side, like something was wrong with the steering – my alignment was off.
Christ first requires desire, duty, and delight
In this Bible study on discipleship, the focus is on putting Christ first. To be a real disciple, we must desire Him, obey His commands, and find delight in Him. Desire for Christ involves repentance and asking God for that desire, recognizing that it is a spiritual thing. Duty is obedience to Christ, and it is our responsibility to obey Him. As we obey God and do our duty, we will see another side of Him and find delight in Him. Once we truly find satisfaction and worth in Christ, He will give us the desires of our hearts. Only then can we be true disciples who are able to delight in Him.
how can one become teachable?
This discipleship Bible study focuses on being teachable. To be a disciple, you must be willing to forsake earthly ties and things, continue in His Word, and be teachable. Being teachable means being able to learn by being taught. To become teachable, you need to be hungry, honest, and humble. Hunger for God means seeking the righteousness of Christ, not the riches and pleasures of this world. Honesty requires examining ourselves to see if our actions reflect a genuine conversion. Humility involves recognizing that we need to be taught and being willing to learn from others.
