Real Disciples Music Ministry – Ministry Alignment & Commitments

“Strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, ‘We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.’”
Acts 14:22

Vision

Real Disciples Music exists to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through music. Our desire is to create events and environments where those who do not know God can encounter Him, and where believers are encouraged to grow in faith and become true disciples.

Music is a powerful tool — and when submitted to the Spirit of God, it becomes a platform for transformation. Everything we do, and everyone involved, must walk in alignment with this vision: to preach the gospel to the unsaved and to build up the saved.

Ministry Alignment Commitments

We do not serve for platform or performance. We serve from conviction, with lives shaped by the message we sing. The following commitments reflect the spiritual alignment we expect from every member of Real Disciples Music.

1. Faithfulness to Church Life

“Let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together...”Hebrews 10:24–25

  • Be committed to attending regular church services and events.

  • Be involved in the life of the church beyond the music platform.

  • Live out a consistent, growing testimony both in private and in public.

  • Understand that music ministry flows from being part of the local body of Christ.

2. Biblical Moral Purity

“But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct.”1 Peter 1:15
“Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.”1 Corinthians 6:18

  • Live in holiness, aiming to reflect Christ in lifestyle and conduct.

  • Avoid all forms of carnal or worldly behavior.

  • Abstain from sexual sin and maintain a life of purity, both physically and digitally.

  • If moral compromise is discovered, the person will be lovingly removed from ministry for a season of discipline, accountability, and restoration.

  • Restoration is the goal — but there must be evidence of repentance and renewal before returning to ministry.

3. Unity with the Vision & Spirit of the Church

“Now I plead with you, brethren... that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”1 Corinthians 1:10

  • Be in full agreement with the doctrine, direction, and spirit of the church.

  • Support the leadership and vision both publicly and privately.

  • If involved in any activity or holding beliefs that conflict with this alignment, a conversation will be had to understand and resolve the issue with grace and clarity.

  • Division, resistance to leadership, or spiritual confusion will not be ignored, as it affects the unity and direction of the ministry.

A Life That Inspires Others

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”Matthew 5:16

To serve in Real Disciples Music is to live in such a way that your life tells the same story your song does. This means:

  • Daily personal devotion through Bible reading and prayer.

  • A love for God that shows in your consistency and humility.

  • Faithful presence at services, practices, and events.

  • A willingness to serve others, not just be seen.

  • An urgency to share the gospel and invite others to Christ.

Closing Thought

“We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”Acts 14:22

Ministry is not without cost. It requires spiritual strength, personal discipline, and a surrendered life. We understand the weight of what we are called to do — and we commit to honoring Christ in how we live and serve.

Real Disciples Music is more than a team — it’s a calling. May our music always reflect our message, and may our message always reflect the heart of God.
