Each day, we'll focus on a different aspect of motivation and explore how these verses can help you stay motivated and inspired.
As married followers of Jesus,
As married followers of Jesus, it is essential to prioritize prayer and spiritual growth in our lives. Colossians 1:9-11 teaches us that through prayer and spiritual growth, we can live a life that honors and pleases God, produces good fruit, and becomes more Christ-like in character.
get-rich-quick
Proverbs 13:11 teaches us an important lesson about wealth and success. The verse compares two types of wealth: wealth from get-rich-quick schemes, which quickly disappears, and wealth from hard work, which grows over time. This passage reminds us of the importance of patience and hard work in achieving lasting success.
building a great team.
Motivation is the driving force that pushes people to achieve their goals and aspirations. It is especially important in a team setting where the success of the group is dependent on the collective effort of each individual. However, teams can sometimes experience a lack of motivation, leading to decreased productivity and morale. In this blog, we will discuss how to build motivation in your team by establishing a compelling vision.
Baptism
Baptism is a significant event in the life of a Christian. It is the outward expression of an inward transformation that occurs when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. The Bible teaches us that baptism is an essential step in our spiritual journey, and as followers of Christ, we should take it seriously.
a new song
As Christians, one of the most important aspects of our faith is worshiping God. This includes singing praises to Him. The Bible tells us to sing to the Lord a new song, all the earth. This means that singing is not just reserved for a select few or for a specific occasion, but it is something that should be done by all Christians, all the time.
time to talk - Conflict resolution
Conflict resolution is a vital part of any healthy relationship, and the Bible provides valuable guidance on how to resolve conflicts in a godly manner. Here are two ways in which the Bible can help couples resolve conflicts:
overcome your excuses
As human beings, we are often faced with challenges and obstacles that may impede our progress towards success. While it is natural to encounter difficulties, it is important to take responsibility for our actions and decisions in order to overcome them. Unfortunately, some people may make excuses for their lack of success rather than taking ownership of their situations. In this regard, we explore some common reasons why people make excuses for their failures and present Bible-based solutions to help overcome them.
Laziness is not just not doing nothing.
Laziness is often perceived as not doing anything at all, but in reality, it's not doing the things that we don't like or find challenging.
Successful people can push through the discomfort and do what needs to be done, even if they don't enjoy it. They are disciplined and can systematically tackle tasks, even if they are not exciting. On the other hand, lazy people may seem busy, but they are often busy doing the wrong things or procrastinating.
Impact in Paris
Paris is widely known as the city of love, but it also needs the love of Jesus. Recently, I had an incredible opportunity to join the Wandsworth Church team in Paris to witness for Jesus on the streets. It was an experience filled with inspiration and hope.
Say no!
Often, we struggle to say "no" because we're accustomed to pleasing everyone around us. We may overestimate our availability and ability, leading us to take on more than we can handle. However, learning to say "no" to the right things at the right time can be one of the most powerful and positive decisions we make.
remedy for anxiety
The Bible offers a powerful remedy for anxiety in Philippians 4:6-7. God tells us not to be anxious about anything, but to bring our requests to Him in prayer with thanksgiving. The peace of God, which transcends understanding, will then guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. It's natural to face situations that feel overwhelming, but God wants us to turn to Him in prayer and trust in His strength and wisdom. By doing so, we can experience His peace and witness to others about His grace and love. The peace of God not only comforts us in difficult times, but also protects us from anxiety and negative emotions. Let us turn to God in prayer and find peace in His presence, knowing that He is always with us.
Do not fear,
This blog highlights the common theme of not fearing in Scripture and provides five key verses to meditate on to overcome fear and find courage in God. The verses emphasize God's presence with us, His strength and help, and the power of prayer and trust in Him. Meditating on these scriptures can help us find peace and courage in the face of challenges.
are you Self-centered?
Self-centered people can be oversensitive and self-absorbed, making it difficult for them to connect with others and feel empathy. They may struggle in a church setting where there is a focus on serving others and growing as a community. The Bible encourages self-centered individuals to turn to Jesus and become more focused on him, as this can help them overcome their tendency to be self-absorbed and improve their relationships with others.
